Climate Change & Sustainability is one of the most critical aspects & as a SPIAPL, we are committed to reduce the environmental footprint and GHG emissions resulting out of our operations. Therefore, in our constant endeavour to support Environment, we strive to implement strategies that can reduce the Utilization of resources, Enhance Operational Efficiency, reduce dependency on fossil fuel, increase use of Renewable energy, Use Green Certified products and materials, enhance biodiversity and reduce the waste being sent to landfill.

  • Green building certifications are an effective way of minimising the environmental impact while maximising resource efficiency and occupant health and wellbeing. Employing sustainable design and construction practices that meet the requirements of such certifications boosts the durability of our buildings, resulting in reduced expenses for maintenance and repairs in the long run. Additionally, adhering to globally benchmarked standards help us create healthier and more productive indoor spaces for occupants. This, in turn, leads to heightened satisfaction among occupants, improved wellbeing of employees, and decreased healthcare expenses.

  • All buildings in SP Infocity Pune are certified Platinum under the IGBC Green Rating Programme, demonstrating the highest standards of sustainability. We not only ensure our new construction projects are green-certified but also maintain certifications for operational assets through the Operation and Maintenance rating.

Our Contribution

Masina Hospital

Masina Hospital

In line with the key focus areas and the CSR Policy, the Company has contributed funds, as CSR expenditure, to Masina Hospital, a hospital specializing in treatment of burns in South Mumbai and having a survival rate of almost 70% for patients with 50% burns. By contributing to Masina Hospital, a modern multi-specialty hospital which caters to needs of the lower income strata, the Company plans to further its goal towards providing better and more accessible health care facilities for the society at large.
