Mr. Mahantesh Mali joined Shapoorji Pallonji Investment Advisors in September 2022 and has over 27 years of experience.

His responsibilities include asset management of the Real estate portfolio across all the investments. His major focus is on CRM, ESG, EHS of Property management, Compliance, Capex, Opex, AMC, Certifications, stakeholders’ engagement & performance management over the holding period, and managing the exit process.

Prior to joining SPIAPL, Mahantesh worked with funds like New Vernon Capital & Blackstone Asset Management arm- Nucleus Office Parks over a period of 15 years. Before that, he has been with Integrated Property Management across all major cities in India & Srilanka, Intercontinental Hotel- Doha, Qatar & Oberoi Hotels – Mumbai in projects and property management.

He has managed over 15 Mn sq. ft. office space investments across major cities in India with NV & NOP, has leased over 3mn sq. ft. of IT/ITes space, and has overviewed over 4 Mn sq. ft. of development projects, upgrades of projects, fit-out works and has exited over 5 Mn sq. ft. of exits to institutional funds. He has achieved 5 Sword of Honour from British Safety Council for Occupational Health & Safety IMS Certifications, LEED O&M, and IGBC Certifications for projects. He has done GRESB rating & GRI reporting as well.

Mahantesh is a graduate Engineer in Electrical & Electronics from NIE – Mysore, is an alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad. He is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors since 2011 and Master of Corporate Real Estate (Corenet)
