Mr. Sujit Baral joined Shapoorji Pallonji Investment Advisors in September 2022. He has over 13 years of total experience with more than a decade of experience in Investment domain including both credit and private equity space across India.

He plays a key role across the investment lifecycle including sourcing and evaluating opportunities, building and reviewing financial models, leading diligence, investment and legal negotiations, preparing and reviewing internal approval documents and executing investment transaction. He is also actively involved in managing existing portfolio, performance tracking, and managing exit strategies.

Prior to joining SPIAPL,  Sujit led special situations investments of over $200M in India and evaluated distressed debt opportunities exceeding $2B. Sujit has served in end to end deal cycles involving sourcing, executing, and managing multiple transactions. Sujit was also previously part of the Credit team at Axis Bank, managing a portfolio of 100+ clients with aggregate debt exposure exceeding $2B.

Sujit holds a BTech (CS) and a MBA Finance degree along with CFA Charter holder. He is also an active member of Indian Association of Investment Professionals and an active volunteer of CFA Society India.
